Top AEW star Anthony Bowens has heaped praise on WWE veteran The Miz.
A part of the Stamford-based promotion since 2004, The Miz has established himself as arguably one of the biggest names on the roster. With an extremely successful career and multiple title wins, The A-Lister is also one of the promotion’s faces for media events, films, and other things.
Recently, during an interview with HypeTalkTV for a new interview, former AEW tag-team champion Anthony Bowens opened up on his current role and revealed how he wants to experience a career similar to the former World Champion.
“I enjoy it. I’ve always wanted to be someone, honestly so like The Miz. He’s a guy over there that does everything for WWE. He is at all these events, he proudly represents the company, and I always thought that was super cool. I want to be a company guy. I want to be somebody that they’re proud of, aka The Pride Of Pro Wrestling, to send out and do these things because that’s the ultimate trust.
I’m representing this brand and they’re saying, ‘Hey, go to Hollywood and represent us. Hey, go into the fitness space, go into the influencing space. Go into sports and represent our brand.’ I think that’s the ultimate trust in a performer. So I always hoped to be that. I tell PR, if you need me for something, put me there. I will go. You’re paying me to work here, push me and put me in all of these spots, I’d be more than happy to do it.”

Bowens himself has been a part of several AEW media events, travelling across the world and taking part in several interview sessions.
WWE Hall Of Famer Heaps Praise On The Miz
The Miz. No doubt about it. When he came in, and not because Miz didn’t have talent because he did, but how do you learn on global TV? That’s impossible. You know, by the time I got to WWE, I probably had about a thousand matches. Most of the guys did. Miz is having to learn without that educational background of having to work in a bunch of territories and all those things we got to do.”
The Miz is now also set to host the upcoming reboot of The American Gladiators.
