AEW Star Hits Out At Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash

Dustin Rhodes has made his dislike of Brock Lesnar clear.

The May 22nd edition of Raw opened with Cody Rhodes arriving backstage at the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

As he walked down the corridor, Lesnar appeared out of nowhere and launched a vicious assault on The American Nightmare.

The Beast Incarnate threw him into a table, ladder, and equipment crates before crushing his arm against a garage door with a metal keg. The attack left Cody writhing on the floor in pain.

Later in the night, Lesanr went to the ring to run down Cody. However, Rhodes came out to confront him despite his arm being in a sling. The Conqueror easily got the better of him again, this time wrapping up his damaged arm in a Kimura Lock before stamping on his hand.

At this point, Dustin took to social media to proclaim Lesnar is “a piece of s**t!” for what he was doing to his brother.

Cody Rhodes will still clash with Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions

Toward the end of the show, Cody was shown talking to Triple H backstage. The Chief Content Officer advised him to get medical attention, saying his arm was clearly broken.

Despite this, Rhodes was determined to face Lesnar at Night of Champions regardless. Triple H continued to try to talk Rhodes out of it, but the Royal Rumble winner ended things by saying he would be at the event to “fight Brock Lesnar.”

While Cody still has a huge obstacle to overcome in Lesnar, a recent report has looked to his future, claiming that the star could have a huge match to look forwards to at WrestleMania 40.
