AEW is currently moving forward with one of the wackiest storylines ever for The Young Bucks. Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson are looking to secure their fourth reign with the AEW World Tag Team Championship, but obstacles continue to get in the way. Now the uncertainty surrounding the brothers has picked up.
The Bucks may have lost their EVP titles in the AEW storylines, but Matt and Nick are still working for Tony Khan on-screen and behind-the-scenes as Executive Vice Presidents, along with Kenny Omega. The co-founders are the only three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions but Private Party ended their last reign at 192 days in October 2024. Furthermore, The Elite has been on hold for months amid Jack Perry’s absence, and with Kazuchika Okada joining The Don Callis Family.
AEW’s inaugural Unified Champion and his stablemates have teamed up with Matt and Nick in recent months as the various AEW babyfaces battle The Bucks, The Death Riders, and The Don Callis Family. The faction recently added a major star who is already back out of action.
Don Callis seems unhinged at times, but the veteran wrestling genius is often cold and calculated, which we saw recently when he choked out an AEW celebrity. The leader of The Family has been the subject of recent social media debates as he tweets in all-caps, calling out various wrestlers and other relevant stars.
While Callis and The Bucks are now on the same page, the former Cyrus The Virus began his wacky tweets related to Matt and Nick on Monday, September 8. In all caps, Callis wished a Happy Birthday to Nick Jackson. The problem was, Nicholas was born on July 28, 1989. The 36-year-old has not responded to Callis’ birthday post as of this writing. Callis then took to X this morning and congratulated Nick on “amazing news” that he did not elaborate on.
“CONGRATULATIONS NICK JACKSON!! AMAZING NEWS!!,” wrote Don Callis.

Callis posted a follow-up two minutes later. Once again in all caps, the Winnipeg native made it known that he’d love to manage Nick, if Matt ever breaks down physically.
“IF MATT JACKSON EVER SUFFERS A COMPLETE PHYSICAL BREAKDOWN I WOULD LOVE TO MANAGE NICK JACKSON,” Don Callis wrote.

“BEST ATHLETE IN AEW: KYLE FLETCHER. NUMBER TWO IS THE INCOMPARABLE NICK JACKSON,” wrote Don Callis.

The Jackyl of WWE’s Truth Commission wrapped up his Bucks-related tweets 33 minutes later, now wishing a Happy Birthday to one of his favorite people: Matt Jackson. The problem is, Matthew was born on March 13, 1985. The 40-year-old also has not responded as of this writing.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTHEW JACKSON!! ONE OF MY FAVOURITE PEOPLE,” Don Callis wrote.
