A 26-year-old star is set to compete for the AEW World Title in a first-time challenge.
The latest episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off with Hangman Page in action against The Don Callis Family’s Josh Alexander. The stars put on a great showing with some hard-hitting offense, with both stars going all guns blazing to kick off the show.
Page, the AEW World Champion, emerged victorious and took out Alexander with relative ease. However, The Anxious Millennial Cowboy had a surprise waiting for him as Don Callis emerged from the back with his greatest asset and TNT Champion, Kyle Fletcher.
Hangman Page Vs Kyle Fletcher Is Set For AEW All Out
Fletcher made his way to the ring and stated that he deserved a shot at the world title since he was the best young talent in AEW. The 26-year-old vowed to take the world title away from Page before being made fun of for wearing no socks. Hangman Page then blasted him for his arrogance and stated that there was no reason for Fletcher to think that he had a world title run in him and that he did not lose a gallon of his blood winning the title to lose it to Fletcher of all people.
The stars then had some more back and forth on the mic before the world champion decided to give the TNT Champion one shot at the title.
The match has now been set for AEW All Out for September 20, with The Protostar being set for his first-ever AEW World Title challenge.

This will also be a major challenge for Hangman Page since the star will be up, not just against Kyle Fletcher, but also against The Don Callis Family, which has about 300 members at this point.
It remains to be seen whether the Buckshot Lariat will be able to stop Fletcher’s momentum once and for all.
