Top AEW star set to get married.
During last week’s Dynamite, Ricochet and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey won a four-way match against Mark Davis and Orange Cassidy to earn themselves a shot at Kenny Omega’s International Championship at the Dynasty PPV on 6th April, 2025.
After the controversial finish last week, fans are set to witness an arguably excellent display of professional wrestling on April 6th. However, as fans prepare to soak in the buildup to this title match, Ricochet decided not to show up on the March 26th episode of Dynamite.
During tonight’s show, Kenny Omega and Bailey got involved in a heated exchange of words after The Cleaner’s victory over Blake Christian. However, despite missing the March 26th episode, the former WWE star appeared on the titantron via satellite and explained his absence. Discussing his absence, Ricochet announced his wedding to Samantha Irvin, and explained how he was dressed up for the situation.
Irvin and Ricochet have been engaged since January 2023 and are now all set to tie the knot. He further claimed that he will be missing from the weekly television shows till April 6th.
AEW Star Ricochet Explains 2023 Scary Money In The Bank Spot With Logan Paul
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Ricochet recalled his extremely scary 2023 Money In The Bank spot with Logan Paul and said:
“I mean, in the moment (with Logan Paul at WWE Money in the Bank) I guess, especially in wrestling, you have to rely on your instincts a lot because sometimes, things don’t go right. Especially with what we do and when you add tables and ladders and all these types of things.
So, in those moments, fight or flight, reactions. Again, like you said, you have half a second to think about what you wanna do and I feel like most… I’m out there. Obviously, you’re trying to put on a show for the crowd and at the same time, I’m holding on to Logan Paul… We going, bro. You slip, I slip, it don’t matter. We going. We going.”
