AEW star Brian Cage has confirmed that he is dealing with an ongoing injury.
As part of the Homecoming special episode of Dynamite on January 10th, Cage teamed with Lance Archer and Gates of Agony in a losing effort to Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes and Preston Vance.
Cage, who had his shoulder taped for the match, hit an impressive one-armed suplex onto Cassidy. The Machine took to social media to brag about his feat of strength, which was especially impressive as he is not 100%.

The injury took place on the January 3rd episode of Dynamite where Cage compered in a 4-Way match to determine a new number one contender to the Continental Championship. Cage would also provide pictures of his bruised arm, revealing the extent of the injury:

There has been no further update regarding Cage potentially taking time away to rehab the injury.
Injured AEW Star Gives Update On Return
Many top stars from the AEW roster such as MJF, Adam Cole and Jamie Hayter are currently sidelined with injuries until further notice. Another former champion who has been out injured for a number of weeks is Rey Fenix, who had previously been dealing with a back and/or hip injury. In a recent interview, the former AEW Tag Team Champion gave an update on his recovery process and when fans can expect to see him return.
