An AEW star has confirmed that they are set to miss a number of weeks due to injury.
Following his arrival back in July, Hologram has become a fan favourite and has built up momentum in the company by remaining undefeated. Making his singles PPV debut at WrestleDream, the recent signee defeated The Best Mortos 2-1 in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Unfortunately, Hologram was unable to escape the match unscathed.
Along with his work in AEW, Hologram competes in the Lucha Libre promotion GALLI as Aramis. In an update via the promotions Facebook page, Aramis confirmed that he is dealing with an injury and would be unable to put his Indiscutible Title on the line against The Beast Mortos at the Explocion de Otono event on October 27th:
“Hello to all my friends in Chicago and fans of GALLI Lucha Libre! This is your champion, the Musketeer of the Air, Aramis (also known as Hologram) to bring you two pieces of news: a slightly good one and a bad one. The bad news is that I will not be able to appear on the 10/27 show. Believe me that I was looking forward to the show and defend this title (the GALLI Indiscutible Title), but I got injured and I will be out for some weeks.”
However, in a more positive update, Aramis added that he believes he will only be sidelined for 2 weeks, meaning that he should be recovered in time for the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 23rd:
“I would be with you all if it were up to me, but that is not the case per advice from the medics so I will have to post-pone that match against Beast Mortos. The slightly good news is I won’t be out for that long, just about two weeks. I will try to heal up as soon as I can so I can bring a great spectacle for all of you and be a worthy champion. A hug from the Musketeer of The Air,”
AEW Star Set To Return Soon
Although one member of the roster looks to be sidelined for a number of weeks, a former AEW Champion was recently spotted backstage and is expected to make their return very soon.
Recently an injured AEW star addressed their return after 10 months away.
