In arguably the most surprising news of the week, the worlds of WWE and AEW are set to collide during WrestleMania weekend as current All Elite Wrestling star Chris Jericho joins fellow WWE legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin for the WWE Network’s Broken Skull Sessions.
Airing on Sunday, April 11th via Peacock in the United States and the WWE Network globally, the former AEW World Champion joins a list of recent guests such as The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Bayley and Sasha Banks on the candid, tell-all show.
In a trailer released on the WWE Network Twitter account, Jericho’s iconic WWE countdown plays while lights flash in the eyes of the iconic Stone Cold skull, before the camera pans out to reveal both the Demo God and the Texas Rattlesnake sitting in silence. They turn to the camera and smirk as the trailer ends.
No foolin' around here. You're gonna get … IT! 🤯 @IAmJericho joins @steveaustinBSR on the next #BrokenSkullSessions, premiering Sunday, April 11 on @PeacockTV in the U.S. and @WWENetwork everywhere else! pic.twitter.com/fQPzQ3QBDW

Chris Jericho’s final WWE appearance came in a cameo role during the RAW Reunion in a backstage skit with Elias. In January 2019, Chris Jericho signed a three-year contract with All Elite Wrestling, becoming the company’s first marquee signing during their launch press conference.
Jericho has gone on to become a staple of AEW programming, as the company’s inaugural World Champion, as well as appearing behind the commentary desk. On his Talk Is Jericho podcast, and in several other avenues, the former WWE star hasn’t held back in his criticism of the company. This is not to be missed!
