An AEW star will debut in All Japan Pro-Wrestling in a 50th anniversary tournament.
On September 18 and 19, All Japan Pro-Wrestling will hold two events on Budokan Hall and Korakuen Hall, respectively. On Saturday, AJPW’s social media accounts announced current AEW star and Manager of Talent Relations, Christopher Daniels, would take part in both shows.

This will be the Fallen Angel’s debut for AJPW, although he has challenged for Arashi and The Great Muta’s AJPW World Tag Team championship at ROH Final Battle 2003.
Also announced for the anniversary shows are IMPACT’s Joe Doering, and NJPW’s Tiger Mask, Yuji Nagata and Minoru Suzuki.
Daniels’ latest match for All Elite Wrestling was at the Fyter Fest edition of Rampage in a losing effort to Jay Lethal in the build to ROH Death Before Dishonor. Lethal went on to face Samoa Joe at the pay-per-view in an attempt to become ROH TV Champion, but he ultimately lost and Samoa Joe retained his title.
Prior to his match with Jay Lethal, Daniels last competed in All Elite Wrestling when he faced Bryan Danielson on the February 3rd episode of Dynamite, taking a loss to the American Dragon.
