AEW Set For Special Setting In Upcoming Battle With WWE

AEW President Tony Khan and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H

AEW is awaiting WWE’s announcement on its rumored September PLE, which is expected to go head-to-head with the seventh annual All Out PPV. While Tony Khan and his team prepare for the next round of counter-programming, they have revealed a surprise of their own aimed at the competition.

All Elite Wrestling ran its home base of Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida for much of its schedule during the COVID-19 pandemic, but did not bill those events under the Homecoming banner for obvious reasons. There have been four other trips back to The Bold City that also were not billed as Homecoming episodes.

The inaugural All Elite Homecoming event was a Dynamite on New Year’s Day 2020, then the second Homecoming Dynamite took place on August 4, 2021, with the first and only Homecoming Rampage taping that same night to air two days later. Tony Khan brought the company back to Daily’s Place on January 25 of this year for the first Homecoming Collision, and now they are returning to the fan-favorite venue for a head-to-head battle with WWE NXT, and an extra-special edition of Dynamite.

AEW Announces Homecoming Shows: Title Tuesday Dynamite, Wednesday Collision

All Elite Wrestling has officially announced its fourth annual Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite on TBS. This time the Dynamite special will be held under the Homecoming banner, live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville on Tuesday, October 7. The second Homecoming Collision of this year will then air the following night, live on TNT.

“JACKSONVILLE! AEW is coming HOME to @dailysplace for two huge nights of action [fire emoji] • Dynamite Title Tuesday on 10/7 • Collision on Wednesday 10/8 Tickets go on sale on Monday, 8/18! Sign up to be an AEW Insider for presale access and more, at AEWTix.com!,” reads the announcement on X.

There’s no word yet on why Khan is holding the Title Tuesday Dynamite and the Wednesday Collision. However, that same week marks the beginning of the 2025-2026 NHL season, and TNT has significant coverage planned.
