AEW and Ring of Honor stars have been stopped from facing off on an upcoming independent show after consultations with Tony Khan’s companies.
Warrior Wrestling had previously been advertising a huge tag team match between former ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes and two-thirds of the current AEW Trios Champions, the Lucha Brothers.
However, the promotion has now announced on social media that after consultations with ROH and AEW, that match would no longer take place but both teams will still compete on the show:
“After consultation from our friends at ROH and AEW, we have agreed to alter our card for Warrior Wrestling 25. The Lucha Brothers and the Briscoe Brothers will both still be competing, but they will no longer be facing one another..”

Warrior Wrestling also announced that Eddie Kingston will also now be on the show and that he will also be taking part in the pre-show fan fest.
Warrior Wrestling 25 will take place on Sunday, October 2nd at Marion Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Il. Tickets for the event can be found here.
Instead of facing off with each other, The Lucha Brothers will be taking on the team of Gringo Loco and former FTW Champion, Brian Cage while The Briscoes will do battle with The Rascalz.
