AEW has celebrated reaching a new milestone as their YouTube channel has reached a massive 1 billion views.

Since being created in 2019, AEW has created hundreds of memorable moments and many of these can be seen on the company’s YouTube channel.

As well as clips and matches, the channel also features weekly episodes of Dark and Dark: Elevation which show matches not seen on Dynamite or Rampage.

On February 11th, AEW thanked fans for helping them reach 1 billion views on the channel which also has over 3 million subscribers.

“Thank you to each and every person that helped us achieve this incredible milestone!”

While the tweet received numerous congratulations, one star demanded recognition for the role he claims to have played in the accomplishment.

Joey Janela, who has been with the company since the beginning, asked if he would be sent a plaque for all of his “memorable YouTube moments”.

“You guys gonna send a plaque for all my memorable YouTube moments?”

Recently, there has been speculation that Janela’s contract won’t be renewed when it comes up in April. When asked about his status on a recent episode of Barstool’s Rasslin’ podcast, the star said he doesn’t know what will happen.

However, he added that he is hopeful he will continue to be part of the roster.
