Major Spoiler Below
The major betrayal took place after Andrade El Idolo defeated PAC in the show’s main event. El Idolo shockingly turned on his manager Chavo Guerrero, seemingly signalling the end of their short-lived pairing.
Some fans may take this as a clue as to what might be in the imminent future for Andrade El Idolo in AEW. He was seconded to his match for the AAA Mega Championship at TripleMania by ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair.
Rumours of Flair’s future have run amok ever since the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer parted ways with WWE. Flair has since appeared for the National Wrestling Alliance, giving an emotional speech at their NWA 73 pay-per-view.
Andrade El Idolo, who is engaged to Flair’s daughter and WWE RAW Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, initially came to All Elite Wrestling by the side of Vickie Guerrero. She soon named her nephew Chavo Guerrero as the Mexican star’s Executive Consultant and the two have stood together as they looked to prise apart Death Triangle and bring the new AEW Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers into their fold.
