AEW headed to Baltimore, Maryland for the latest set of Dynamite and Rampage tapings. As usual, Rampage was taped following the AEW’s flagship show.
After a chaotic main event on Dynamite, it was confirmed that Darby Allin, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, and Sammy Guevara would all challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing. The announcement came after Perry and Allin teamed together to defeat MJF and Guevara, but not after the champion and Spanish God came to blows during the bout.
The show also featured the surprise return of former Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida who came to the rescue of Willow Nightingale.
