AEW Rampage was taped following the conclusion of AEW Dynamite.

Those in attendance at the tapings in Colorado have been able to provide spoilers to the events that took place on the show due to air on Friday June 9th.

AEW Rampage Sees New Number One Contender Crowned

A 4-Way match took place on the show, where the winner would be next in line to challenge Toni Storm for the Women’s Championship. The match was won by Skye Blue, who triumphed over Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose, and Britt Baker. The title match has been scheduled for the June 14th episode of Dynamite.

At Double or Nothing, referee Aubrey Edwards was the victim of a guitar shot from Karen Jarrett. Edwards attempted to get vengeance on the June 2nd episode, but was separated. The June 9th show will see Jeff and Karen Jarrett call out Edwards for a match, but Mark Briscoe would be the one to respond. Instead, an intergender 6 person tag match is to take place in the near future.

The following events took place at the taping for AEW Rampage:

  • Jeff Jarrett, alongside Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Satnam Singh, and Karen Jarrett, called out Aubrey Edwards. Mark Briscoe answered and announced that a six-person tag team match where Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, and Jay Lethal will face him, Aubrey Edwards, and Briscoe will take place.
  • Bandido & The Lucha Brothers [Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo] defeated Big Bill, Ethan Page & Lee Moriarty. The Hardys came out and told Page to use his “gifts”. They made Page put on Jeff Hardy-like sleeves, and Bandido capitalized on the distraction by pinning Page.
  • AEW Women’s World Championship Number One Contender’s Match: Skye Blue defeated Mercedes Martinez, Nyla Rose, and Britt Baker.
  • Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Caleb Crush
  • The Acclaimed [Max Caster & Anthony Bowens] & “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn defeated Spanish Announce Project [Serpentico, Luther & Angelico]
