The ratings for AEW Rampage fell to their lowest point ever in the show’s usual timeslot on March 31st.
The lowest-rated episode of the show came on February 17th when it aired at 7 pm.
The March 31st episode of the show pulled in 340,000 viewers, which is down almost nine percent from the previous week. Meanwhile, the show scored a 0.10 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic. This ties the record lowest rating in the demographic for the show in its usual 10 pm timeslot.
The show was up against some stiff competition with the women’s NCAA basketball tournament being broadcast at the same time. Rampage also went head-to-head with the WWE Hall of Fame and ROH Supercard of Honor.
AEW Rampage featured wins for Sammy Guevara, Juice Robinson, Best Friends, and Taya Valkyrie.
Tony Khan To Make Announcement On AEW Dynamite
Speaking on a media call ahead of ROH Supercard of Honor, the AEW President said that he has some “very exciting news” coming on the April 5th episode of Dynamite. He later added that there would be a “huge announcement” on the show.
There have been numerous rumours about what the news could be with some speculating that it could be tied to a new television show. It has been reported that more AEW content could be on the way in July, or potentially even earlier.
The comments from Khan come after he claimed that an announcement about an upcoming AEW show in the United Kingdom was coming soon.
