AEW Rampage Ratings – May 27th
The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the May 27th edition of AEW Rampage drew a total of 341,000 viewers, with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. That works out at 183,000 viewers.
That is a decrease on the previous week where the show drew 410,000 viewers.
The May 27th episode of Rampage was AEW’s final stop before Double or Nothing two days later. The show opened with Bryan Danielson returning to the ring after missing Dynamite, to face Matt Sydal. Despite Sydal hanging with the Blackpool Combat Club member for much of the bout, Danielson’s class eventually told as he earned the win.
Ahead of their meeting with The Hardys at Double or Nothing, the Young Bucks squared off against Taylor Rust and Jon Cruz in full Hardys cosplay. The pair even brought out Gangrel, while Cutler was dressed as Lita, complete with signature thong.
During the match, the former AEW Tag Team Champions performed all of the Hardys signature moves before earning the win. After the bout, the pair attacked Gangrel which brought out The Hardys.
In the main event, Ruby Soho defeated Kris Statlander, much to the annoyance of a section of the crowd, to advance to the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
