The March 18th edition of AEW Rampage opened with a clash between Darby Allin and The Butcher. For much of the bout, The Butcher controlled the pace, but it was Allin who eventually picked up the win via count-out.
There was also a win for Red Velvet over Leyla Hirsch. Velvet rushed Hirsch on the ramp before the match even began. After they finally arrived in the ring, Velvet set about trying to overwhelm her opponent, but Hirsch kept finding ways to fightback. However, Velvet claimed the victory with a little help of a distraction caused by Kris Statlander.
House of Black demolished Bear Country and Fuego Del Sol, and in the main event Keith Lee overcame Max Caster. After the match Lee was attacked by Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks, before The Acclaimed also dived in. Swerve Strickland came to the rescue brandishing a chair and clearing the ring.
