The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT have been revealed.

As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the June 3rd edition of AEW Rampage drew in 475,000 viewers with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 year-old demographic.

This is an increase on the previous week where the show pulled in 341,000 viewers, with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. The increase came as the show returned to it’s regular time slot.

The main headline from Rampage was the announcement from CM Punk that he is set to undergo surgery.

While many fans feared the worst, Punk walked gingerly to the ring with tears in his eyes. He explained how difficult the situation was and that every bone in his body had told him to go home, but his gut told him to face the world. The champion then revealed that he is set to undergo surgery, however, despite initially feeling he should relinquish the World Title, he was informed by AEW President Tony Khan that he didn’t need to.

It has since been announced that a Battle Royal will open the June 8th edition of Dynamite, where the winner will face top-ranked Jon Moxley in the main event. The winner of that match will then advance to take on the winner of Hiroshi Tanahashi and Hirooki Goto who meet at NJPW Dominion at Forbidden Door.

In the main event of Rampage, Scorpio Sky defeated Dante Martin to retain his TNT Championship.
