The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT have been revealed.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported that the 4th of February edition of AEW Rampage attracted 540,000 total viewers, which is down from the previous week’s episode which drew 601,000 viewers.
The much-discussed 18-49 demo saw Rampage get a 0.2 rating which accounts for 263,000 viewers in that demographic. Again, this shows a downward trend from the 28th of January edition of AEW Rampage which received a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demo.
The latest edition of Rampage faced tougher competition in the ratings due to the Winter Olympics beginning in Beijing, China.
AEW Rampage on Friday was headlined by Ricky Starks and Jay Lethal doing battle over Starks’ FTW Championship. In the end, Ricky Starks avoided a Lethal Injection in spectacular fashion to pick up the win over the former ROH Champion to retain his gold.
Elsewhere on the show, The Elite’s Adam Cole defeated Dark Order’s Evil Uno in short order before Sammy Guevara retained his Undisputed TNT Championship in a hard-fought match with Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy. There was a rare disqualification in Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez’s match after Martinez cracked La Mera Mera over the head with a steel pipe.
