The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT have been revealed.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the February 25th episode of AEW Rampage drew in 473,000 viewers. The show also earned a 0.18 rating in the 18-49 year-old demographic.
This is compared to the previous week which pulled in 471,00 viewers. A figure which represented a 2022 low for the show.
The Friday 25th episode of AEW Rampage opened with the huge TNT Championship match between champion Sammy Guevara and Andrade El Idolo.
The competitive bout to a conclusion with Matt Hardy attempting to help Andrade by removing the pads from the turnbuckles. However, it was a move that quickly backfired. As Andrade tried to hit a DDT from the top rope, he was tripped by Guevara, hitting his head in the process, allowing the Spanish God to land a Springboard Cutter to earn the win.
The show also saw a showdown between powerhouses Wardlow and Nick Comoroto. Three Powerbombs later, Wardlow planted his foot on Comoroto to claim the win.
Serena Deeb quickly saw off Kayla Sparks as part of her ‘Five minute rookie challenge’ while Orange Cassidy defeated Anthony Bowens via a helping hand from Danhausen to earn a spot in the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match at Revolution.
