The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of Friday night’s AEW Rampage on TNT have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the April 15th episode of AEW Rampage drew 482,000 viewers, with 288,000 viewers in the 18-49-year-old demographic. That works out at a rating of 0.22. It should be noted that the show aired three hours earlier than usual.
That is a decrease on the previous week where the show pulled in 600,000 viewers with a 0.25 rating in the key demographic.
The April 15th edition of AEW Rampage kicked off with the six-man tag team match between The Gunn Club and the Blackpool Combat Club. After joining forces with Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson the week before the match served as a coming out party for Wheeler Yuta.
The newest member of the BCC started out the match and he was also the one who ended it, pinning Billy Gunn to claim the win.
This was followed by The Butcher demolishing an enhancement talent as he prepares to meet Wardlow on Dynamite. Elsewhere, Ruby Riott defeated Robyn Renegade in a qualifying match in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
However, Rampage was all out the main event and the Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship. For a little over 20 minutes champion and challenger went all out to earn the win, with no act being deemed too violent.
The pair utilised chairs, tables, a chain and barbed wire, spending much of the match with blood flowing. The brutal conclusion came when Page hit a Deadeye from the apron through table while Cole was wearing a barbed wire crown.
