AEW has given a status update on two stars who haven’t been seen in weeks.
Back in September, RUSH and Dralistico joined up with the Beast Mortos to form a new version of La Faccion Ingobernable with Jake Roberts later being revealed as the group’s new manager.
Over the following weeks, the group had matches against the likes of FTR, The Acclaimed, and The Outrunners. However, while Mortos is currently competing in the Continental Classic as part of the Blue League, his other allies have been missing in action for several weeks.
On the December 7th edition of Collision, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness gave a brief update on the stars, saying the real-life brothers are currently “at home with family matters.” They did not elaborate on the situation any further.
Rush has not been seen since he and Mortos were defeated by The Acclaimed on November 14th, while Dralistico has been out of action since helping LFI overcome Beef, JD Drake, and The Butcher on October 30th.
Rey Fenix Promises To “Speak The Truth” About AEW Contract Situation
Another star who has been absent recently has vowed to have his say, as Rey Fenix has claimed to have received “inhumane treatment” in AEW. The star’s brother Penta El Zero Miedo has already parted ways with the promotion, and it had been expected that both would be WWE-bound soon. However, Fenix has had injury time added onto his deal, meaning he won’t be a free agent until the summer of 2025. It has been widely reported that the former AEW International Champion is not expected to be used before his contract expires.
