It has been confirmed that Tony Khan is set to appear on the upcoming episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

The AEW President will appear in an attempt to resolve the current situation around IMPACT star Sami Callihan.

On the most recent episode of IMPACT, Callihan defeated Moose via DQ with a helping hand from the Good Brothers and Kenny Omega. As the group celebrated after the match, IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore suggested that Callihan be included in the upcoming match between Omega and Moose at Against All Odds. The reasoning being that Callihan now has a win over the number one contender for the IMPACT World Championship.

Don Callis in his usual position alongside Omega, said that a deal couldn’t be made because Callihan is blacklisted by Khan.

D’Amore quickly shot back that he had already spoke to Khan and that the AEW President would be on IMPACT to negotiate in person.

Back with AEW, Khan recently launched a scathing promo on WWE and WWE President Nick Khan. During the monologue, Tony Khan took aim at the man he called “con-man from Connecticut.”

The AEW President’s comments came after it was reported that WWE President Nick Khan had been in talks with NJPW regarding an exclusive partnership which would prevent the company from working with AEW or IMPACT.

Speaking during the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum Khan later explained that he had spoken to NJPW prior to delivering the promo.

Elsewhere, Khan also discussed the status of Don Callis with AEW. Until recently Callis worked as Co-Executive Vice President with IMPACT Wrestling. However, a report has emerged suggesting that Callis is no longer an executive “in any capacity” with IMPACT and Anthem Sports and Entertainment.

Following Double or Nothing, Khan described Callis as “an important member of the team.”
