A new AEW photoshoot for a Forbes article on Tony Khan has seemingly confirmed the impending in-ring return of WWE legend The Big Show, now known by his real name of Paul Wight.
Since signing with All Elite Wrestling in February after quietly departing from WWE, Wight has largely been utilised in a commentary role in AEW, serving as an analyst and broadcasting his larger than life personality via his booming voice. While the official AEW press release on his signing announced a “return to the ring”, Wight has not yet competed in All Elite Wrestling.
However, eagle-eyed fans spotted that the Forbes photoshoot for their article on Tony Khan featured Wight standing inside an AEW ring while wearing wrestling attire for the very first time. While that ring was filled with Elite talent, the seven-foot Wight stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Back in February, AEW issued a press release confirming the surprise signing of Wight to a contract.
“As 2021 shapes up to be the year for AEW’s biggest shows yet, today the promotion announced that wrestling legend Paul Wight signed a long-term deal, adding yet another universally regarded name to AEW’s roster of stars, legends, and upcoming talent. Wight will have an extensive role within AEW, and on top of his return to the ring, he will serve as a commentator on AEW’s newest show, AEW Dark: Elevation.”
Has this photoshoot confirmed that the in-ring return of Paul Wight is imminent? Only time will tell…
