With the promotion’s contracted talent appearing on programming such as The Floor is Lava and The Masked Singer, an All Elite version of the show could happen in the near future.
Jeopardy has been a prominent feature on American television since its first broadcast in 1964. The show reverses the format of traditional quiz shows, where a clue is provided by the host and contestants need to give their answer in the form of a question. The game board consists of multiple categories and monetary values, with a higher prize obtained for answering more difficult questions correctly.
The show’s most well known host was Alex Trebeck, who hosted Jeopardy from 1984 until his sad passing in 2020 from pancreatic cancer. The production stage was renamed the Alex Trebeck stage in honour of the late host.
All Elite Wrestling have a history of presenting special edition programming in collaboration with other TV shows. The August 17th 2022 episode of Dynamite was presented by House of the Dragon to promote the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series.
The show would see Bryan Danielson face Daniel Garcia in a 2 out of 3 falls match, with Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat serving as special guest timekeeper for the match.
