AEW is set to wrap its residency at the former ECW Arena this week. While Tony Khan and his team continue to battle issues with ratings and attendance, a veteran wrestler who holds dual roles with AEW has made an odd idea to help the pro wrestling product. Will Ospreay and many others are reacting to the salacious suggestion.
Chuck Taylor was a big part of All Elite Wrestling’s inaugural year, and beyond. Formerly a member of the popular Best Friends faction, the 23-year industry veteran has not wrestled since losing the Parking Lot Fight to longtime friend and tag team partner Trent Beretta during AEW Rampage on April 27, 2024. It was later reported that Taylor had to retire due to an ankle injury suffered during Rampage on October 6, 2023, where Chuck and Trent teamed with The Hardys to defeat Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard.
The self-proclaimed Sexy Chuckie T was forced to retire after the ankle injury developed into osteonecrosis. He did not wrestle again until the aforementioned Parking Lot Fight, which was actually taped by itself two days before the live episode aired, and inserted into the broadcast as the 10-minute opener.
Taylor noted last summer that he was still looking to get medically cleared to compete after another surgery, then revealed that he is working as a behind-the-scenes coach for AEW. The 39-year-old took to X today to promote the end of the AEW Dynamite at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, but pointed to recent women’s division happenings to suggesting similar racy non-PG storylines for the men’s division.
“Why are all the AEW girls so horny for each other? Maybe the boys should be hornier for each other. AEW Dynamite live Wednesday’s at 8 on TBS and HBO Max,” wrote Chuck Taylor.

Chuckie T’s humorous idea brought replies from countless wrestlers and fans, including those who actually see this as a potential big ratings boost, which is much-needed for Tony Khan’s company at this point. The most popular response belongs to none other than Will Ospreay.
Will Ospreay Agrees With Chuck Taylor’s AEW Dynamite Suggestion
Will Ospreay went on-hiatus at the recent AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door PPV so that he could undergo surgery to repair two herniated discs. Despite the nagging neck injury, Ospreay is keeping his eye on what’s going on in All Elite Wrestling.
The Commonwealth Kingpin chimed in earlier today after Chuck Taylor took to X today to seemingly, and jokingly, suggest same-sex storylines for the All Elite product. Ospreay’s six-word reply seemed straight-forward, but fans are debating whether or not this was another comedic post on the thread.
“I’ve been saying this for ages,” Will Ospreay wrote.

Tomorrow’s Dynamite is happening after a recent report on wrestler safety concerns. The episode will feature Shelton Benjamin vs. Ricochet, Riho and Alex Windsor vs. Emi Sakura and TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, a non-title Grudge Match between World Champion Adam Page and Josh Alexander, plus a non-title Philly Street Fight between Skye Blue and Women’s World Champion Toni Storm.
