A former AEW Tag Team Champion has hit out at MJF over his heated backstage confrontation with Britt Baker!
Yesterday, it was reported that Britt Baker was recently fined and suspended by AEW following a backstage incident with MJF. While backstage at AEW Dynamite last month, Baker allegedly “exercised frustration” about the AEW American Champion while his girlfriend Alicia Atout was in the room.
This led to multiple confrontations between Baker and Atout as well as Baker and MJF in the women’s locker room, including a particularly heated one during which Friedman reportedly “punched a wall.” It was also noted that Baker and Friedman, previously close friends, had a falling out within the last year.
Despite his recent backstage drama coming to light, the 28-year-old successfully defended the AEW American Championship against Templario at CMLL Super Viernes last night. Following his victory, he took to his X account to celebrate his CMLL debut.

In recent news, MJF has opened up about his backstage altercation with Britt Baker.
Ricky Starks Roasted MJF In A Now-Deleted Tweet
MJF’s tweet attracted the attention of his AEW co-worker Ricky Starks who hasn’t been seen in the promotion in several months. In a now-deleted tweet, Starks roasted the AEW American Champion by pointing out that fans are more likely talking about his incident with Baker instead.
“I think they talking about you and Britt tbh”
Starks went on to make light of the deleted tweet a few hours later and even addressed the reason why he deleted it in response to a curious fan.
“The greatest works of art don’t always last forever.”
In a new update, MJF referenced the ongoing Vince McMahon scandal during a recent exchange.
