Vince McMahon was not at all pleased with this WWE star’s drastic appearance change.
The former WWE CEO McMahon was extremely particular about his stars’ appearance and how they looked on-screen. A few years ago, fans saw Sheamus return while sporting a brand new look and mohawk hairstyle. However, while The Celtic Warrior liked the look, fans and McMahon had a similar opinion.
Recently, while speaking to Chris Van Vliet of The Insight, he shared McMahon’s reaction to the mohawk.
“The great thing about that was I pissed the brass off on that one, because I didn’t ask for permission, I just did it. I think I’ve been off with an injury, and I just kind of felt stagnant,
And I’d done that babyface. I was just like, I need something different and cool, right? So I did it, and I think Vince was pissed big time because I didn’t tell him I was doing it.”
Vince McMahon Claims Hulk Hogan Was Not A “Racist”
I knew he wasn’t racist. I’ve been with him for so many years. He wasn’t racist. He said some racist things. He should pay for that, and he did. In the end, I think everyone saw the real Hulk Hogan, Terry Bollea, and they felt, ‘Wait a minute, this guy doesn’t act like a racist. He’s not a racist.’ We all make mistakes. That was a big one, but he wasn’t a racist.”
