AEW Locks In Major Star For All In

AEW All In

Although there are two huge events between May 11th and AEW All In on August 27th, it seems that attention has already turned to the spectacular at Wembley Stadium.

The monster event will be the first wrestling show to be held in the famous venue since SummerSlam in 1992 and marks the first time that AEW will hold any kind of show in the United Kingdom. While no matches have been announced, that hasn’t stopped the event from already being the hottest ticket in town. According to a number of recent reports, the event has already sold well over 60,000 tickets.

However, as reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the company has already booked a major non-AEW name for the show. Meltzer notes that British star Will Ospreay will be wrestling on the show, but his opponent is currently unknown.

“Will Ospreay, as of a couple of days ago, was booked on the show. I do not know his opponent. I do not know the match, but he was booked on the show,”

Since All In was announced, Ospreay has made no secret of his desire to feature on the show.

Will Ospreay Vs. Kenny Omega In AEW?

Although has never been signed to AEW, Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega have a long-running and incredibly heated rivalry. The pair have previously crossed paths on AEW television and Omega defeated Ospreay in their most recent match at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Interestingly, it has previously been reported that the pair could meet at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II on June 25th.

To add to the speculation, Don Callis turned his back on Omega on the May 10th episode of Dynamite. In the aftermath of the betrayal, the veteran changed his bio on Twitter “to “King of Winnipeg Bruv,” seemingly a reference to Ospreay.
