AEW Is Headed To The United Kingdom For The First Time Ever

While talking about tickets being on sale for upcoming AEW events on the west coast of the United States, commentators Excalibur and Tony Schiavone said that two major announcements were coming next week on AEW Dynamite, and we now know that one of them features the promotion heading to the United Kingdom for the first time in history.

Excalibur and Schiavone mentioned that new tour dates will be announced next week that involved two “major Western markets,” with one of them being a first for All Elite Wrestling — their first trip to the UK.

There’s been a lot of anticipation from the company’s fans in the United Kingdom about the potential of the company having an event over the pond, and it looks like that fans may finally get their wish.

The popularity surrounding All Elite Wrestling from UK fans has hit an all-time high, with owner Tony Khan recently taking to social media to boast about Dynamite drawing record viewership for their October 28, 2022 episode. The show, broadcasted on ITV4, drew 201,000 viewers in the United Kingdom, according ITV Head of Scheduling Strategy John Williams.

The episode featured Jon Moxley taking out Penta El Zero Miedo in an AEW World Championship match.
