With all sorts of rumours swirling about backstage unrest in AEW, a new report has indicated that all talent is to attend a meeting before Dynamite in Cleveland.
In recent weeks reports of disquiet in the AEW locker room have increased dramatically. Things appeared to come to a head on the August 17th edition of Dynamite when CM Punk reportedly went off script to make a series of digs at Hangman Adam Page.
This was followed by further reports which suggested that the situation with a number of top stars had got noticeably worse in recent weeks. In addition, some of these stars were said to be “close to breaking point” should things fail to improve.
Fightful Select has now reported that prior to Dynamite taking place in Cleveland, Ohio a mandatory talent meeting will be held and AEW President Tony Khan will be present.
While details are unknown some AEW talent is said to believe that the meeting will address some of the rumours surrounding unrest in the company, as well as contract inquiries, personal issues, and the case of these things being leaked out of the locker room to the wider public.
While the meeting is for all talent it is noted that a substantial number of AEW stars were not brought in for this show so will not be present.
