Back in January, it was reported that WWE Vice President of Communications Adam Hopkins was leaving the company after more than 25 years.
The report from Fightful Select noted that he held multiple communications-related roles during his decades-long tenure with the company before moving into his Vice President spot.
A follow-up report from WrestlingNews.co explains that Hopkins was the main point of contact for media inquiries when the company needed to issue a statement, and he also helped set up talent interviews. The report states that he was seen as incredibly valuable in his position, which makes his departure even more of a surprise.
In a reply to Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet about Hopkins’ departure, former WWE Champion Big E had this to say, praising the executive for his professionalism:
“A true professional and a great human. Really going to miss A Hop.”
Now, according to PWInsider, Hopkins is now All Elite and began working for the company last Wednesday. He was on the road for the March 29th episode of Dynamite, which featured Adam Cole returning to the ring to face Daniel Garcia in the main event. It is unknown at this time what his new job title is, but considering his experience, PWInsider notes that he’s likely to be working for the company’s PR department.

While it’s unlikely to be related to Hopkins’ new position with the company, Tony Khan has been hyping yet another huge announcement on the upcoming episode of Dynamite. In fact, he says it will be one of his most important announcements ever, having a huge impact on the future of the company.
