According to The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Tony Khan offered an AEW contract to former Ring Of Honor Champion Bandido after Wednesday’s Dynamite, where he made his debut for the company in a loss against Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship.
Meltzer’s report has also been confirmed by PWInsider.com.
After the match, Khan was seen excitedly greeting Bandido when the cameras went off of the air, hugging him on the entrance stage.
Bandido isn’t the only talent that AEW is currently interested in bringing in, however.
PWInsider.com is also reporting that the company wants to sign Juice Robinson on a full-time deal. Robinson faced off against Jon Moxley on Wednesday’s Dynamite, where he would suffer defeat to the current AEW World Champion.
Currently, Robinson is with New Japan Pro Wrestling as a member of the Bullet Club faction, however, it is currently not known whether or not he has a contract with the company.
