AEW Has A “Monster Summer” Planned For Canada Says Jeff Jarrett

Jeff Jarrett AEW Battle of the Belts

Jeff Jarrett says AEW is shaping up to have a wild summer, both in the United States and in Canada.

After parting ways with WWE in August of 2022, Jarrett made his AEW debut on the November 2nd episode of Dynamite, smashing Darby Allin over the head with a guitar and forming an alliance with Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh.

In addition to his on-screen exploits, the WWE Hall of Famer also serves in an executive role backstage in All Elite Wrestling as Director of Business Development.

Speaking on his My World podcast, Jarrett opened up about helping the company expand its live event calendar, touting the success of their House Rules show in Troy, OH before looking forward to traveling across the country for more non-televised events.

“We’re off and running. We hit Corbin Kentucky and Salem Virginia, which is right outside of Roanoke. So yeah, we’ve got those two House Rules events coming up. Lots of buzz going on right now around AEW and the ups and downs and everything in between. But yes, Troy OH, was the first House Rules event, and, you know, Salem, and Corbin, Kentucky, so we’re moving over into a different part of the country.

“Our next two events are going to be near and dear to both of our hearts, but we’ll see how that goes. So, you know, at some point we’re going to get out to the Midwest and Texas and probably out West. The Carolinas are a hotbed that we’re looking at, obviously Florida, and then it goes without saying, the Northeast, There are many, many markets in the Northeast that House Rules would fit. So we’re excited.”

“Things Are Rocking, Pal” – Jeff Jarrett On AEW’s Plans For The Summer

Continuing, Jarrett made it clear that AEW’s focus isn’t only on holding shows within the United States as they also have massive plans for a tour of Canada.

“We’re also talking to some Canadian partners from coast to coast. AEW has a monster summer planned for Canada. I mean, a monster summer. Things are rocking, pal. My day job is keeping me busy in so many ways.”

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door is a part of those plans as the highly-anticipated cross-promotional event will be held in Toronto on June 25th.
