AEW will be hoping to smash their ratings record in the UK when Grand Slam airs free in the UK during prime time on the ITV network.
All Elite Wrestling airs in the UK on the ITV network with its most prominent time slot airing Dynamite on a Friday night at 11 pm on ITV4. While perhaps not the ideal time slot, the company’s deal with ITV means their programming airs for free in the UK – something that WWE doesn’t do as their programming airs on the subscription-only BT Sports.
Now Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has noted on social media that the commissioner of ITV 4 has now decided that AEW Grand Slam will air in a prime time slot of 9 pm this Friday:
“After some comments by fans after ITV4 progammer John Williams put over how good AEW has been doing, asking why it’s in a bad time slot, the Grand Slam airing on Friday will be moved to 9 p.m. It usually starts after 11 p.m.”

AEW Dynamite Grand Slam will see five title matches take place on the show. PAC will defend his All-Atlantic Championship against Orange Cassidy while Claudio Castagnoli puts his Ring of Honor World Championship on the line against Chris Jericho.
Swerve In Our Glory will look to repeat their All Out success as they face a challenge for their AEW Tag Team Championship in the form of The Acclaimed. The Interim AEW Women’s World Title is also on the line in a four-way match as Toni Storm faces off with Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Athena, and Serena Deeb.
In the night’s main event Blackpool Combat Club comrades Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley will put teamwork aside as they go head-to-head for the vacant AEW World Championship.
