All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has added another match to their AEW Full Gear card for this Saturday: A three way TNT Championship bout between current champion Wardlow, Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs.
On the November 16, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite, all three professional wrestlers of Wardlow, Samoa Joe and Powerhouse ended up getting in a brawl, just for AEW personnel (both staff and wrestlers) to pull them apart. Now, Tony Khan’s promotion has booked an official match between the three at AEW Full Gear for Wardlow’s TNT Championship.
Three Way TNT Championship Officially Booked For AEW Full Gear
For Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs, they have been going back-and-forth for weeks now, however, Samoa Joe recently turned heel on Wardlow during the November 9, 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite. The incident is what originally sparked up the eventual booking of the three-way match. AEW Full Gear will be the first pay-per-view where Wardlow has defended his TNT Championship.

Also on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, an official match was booked for the AEW World Trios Championship, marking the official company return of The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) as they will be taking on the current champions of Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo) at AEW’s Full Gear pay-per-view.
