AEW Files For New Show Trademarks

AEW Files For New Show Trademarks

AEW fans once again have an indication of future plans for upcoming shows.

At the end of October, a Halloween-themed episode of the flagship show titled “Fright Night Dynamite” aired. While the spookiness was kept to a minimum, the show was still newsworthy as Bobby Lashley made his long-awaited debut at the end of the show.

According to a new filing, All Elite Wrestling has applied to trademark Christmas-themed episodes “Dynamite on 34th Street” and “Christmas Collision.” The trademarks are said to be for the following services:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of professional wrestling programs and events; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling.

Much like the Fright Night application back in October, an official announcement is expected in the coming weeks. However, given that the December 18th Dynamite and December 21st episodes of Collision are the ones closest to Christmas Day, it is likely that these will be the dates of the special shows, especially as the Winter is Coming special has been announced for the week before.

Massive AEW Debut On The Way

Although the year is drawing to a close, All Elite Wrestling still have multiple big shows scheduled before the end of 2024. Looking to end the year strong, a former TNA star is expected to debut in AEW imminently and is already pencilled in for a major angle.
