AEW EVP Kenny Omega has opened up on a future WrestleMania main event scenario.
Since his in-ring debut in 2022, Logan Paul has emerged as one of the biggest and most popular names on the roster. Known for his impeccable heel work and wrestling skills, Paul has successfully presented himself as a celebrity pro-wrestler. With already multiple highly-acclaimed matches and growing popularity, AEW EVP Kenny Omega believes fans might soon see The Maverick in a WrestleMania main event match.
In a new interview with Adi Shankar, Kenny Omega opened up on the rising scenario of celebrities entering different worlds of entertainment, including Hollywood stars entering pro-wrestling or influencers getting selected over veteran actors in films/TV shows. Discussing the situation, The Cleaner claimed with how things are going, fans might get to see Logan Paul versus Mr.Beast in a future WrestleMania headliner.
“I’ve said it before, I don’t think — I don’t know if I’ve ever said it publicly or not, but I mean, I think we’re headed on a path where it’s like, a couple of WrestleManias down the road, the main event’s gonna be Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast. It’s like, what is the wrestling acumen? How many miles have they put into it? It’s like, does it matter? This is process of evolution.”

A former United States Champion, Paul has competed in the last four WrestleManias and won three out of them. He is now scheduled to face Jey Uso in the upcoming edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event on 24th May, 2025.
Former AEW Talent And WWE Hall Of Famer DDP Believes Logan Paul Would Have Thrived In WCW
Recently, speaking on Casino Beats, WWE Hall of Famer DDP heaped praises on Logan Paul. The former World Champion claimed that The Maverick would have thrived back during his era in WCW.
I’ll tell you, as crazy as that sounds, man, Logan Paul would’ve(killed it in WCW. This kid, he has no right to be that good. Now, he does have an incredible instructor and Shane Hurricane Helms. Because Shane, he can really teach someone how to be in that ring. There’s very few people who have real heat. He has real heat and it’s not turn to channel heat.
It’s where you wanna see him get his ass whooped heat, and it’s pretty damn amazing and frustrating if you’re someone like you just cut a promo on, Karrion Cross. You know when a kid comes like this and gets pushed to the moon, I’ve been busting my ass for 20 years, so that’s hard to watch. It would be hard for me to watch too, if I was there working at that time. But the son of a bitch delivers man.”
