The ratings have been published for the December 14th edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW Dynamite Increases Overall Viewership
All Elite Wrestling’s flagship show has seen an increase in viewers compared to the previous week. The December 7th episode of Dynamite drew an average audience of 840,000, meaning that Winter is Coming had an increased viewership of approximately 13.1%. AEW Dynamite would also see their 18-49 rating increase from the 0.29 rating from December 7th.
The main event of Winter is Coming would see AEW World Champion MJF successfully defend the title against Ricky Starks in what was MJF’s first defence of the title. After the match, Bryan Danielson would meet the champion on the entrance ramp, wanting to be the next in line to get a shot at the gold.
The show would open with match 4 of the best of 7 series between Death Triangle and The Elite, with the winners being recognised as the AEW Trios Champions. Death Triangle would win their third match by once again using the hammer, meaning that The Elite need to win all 3 of the remaining matches to win the series. After the match, an angry Kenny Omega took issue with the hammer being a deciding factor once again, before declaring that the next match would be competed under the no disqualification stipulation.
Elsewhere on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho was still angry about losing the Ring of Honor World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli at the Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view. In an attempt to earn some credibility back, Jericho would take on who he would describe as “some jobber” who was later revealed to be Action Andretti. In what would be the most surprising result of the night, Andretti would pin the former Ring of Honor World Champion to win the match.
