This week’s AEW Dynamite sees the return of two major stars with just six weeks to go until AEW Revolution!

The January 19th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite is set to emanate from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC as TNT Champion Cody Rhodes and Jon Moxley both make their AEW returns after respective absences!

Jon Moxley makes his AEW return for the first time in three months tonight after entering treatment for alcohol use back in November. Currently, there is no word on what the former AEW World Champion will be doing on the show. Cody Rhodes also returns for the first time since the December 29th edition of Rampage where he successfully defended the TNT Championship against Ethan Page.

Elsewhere on the show: CM Punk will face Shawn Spears on his path to a long-awaited clash with MJF, a rare mixed tag bout takes place as Adam Cole teams with AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker against Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander and Brody King makes his in-ring debut alongside Malakai Black against The Varsity Blonds!

Plus, FTR take on Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson of The Nightmare Family, Sting & Darby Allin look to settle things once and for all with The Acclaimed and Serena Deeb faces Skye Blue – one week on from her brutal dissection of Hikaru Shida.
