The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the September 14th edition of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 1,175,000 viewers. The show also scored a 0.39 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
That is an increase from the previous week when the show drew 1,035,000 viewers with a 0.38 rating in the key 18-49-year-old demographic. It is the first time in 2022 that the show has averaged over a million viewers for four weeks in a row.
The 14th of September edition of Dynamite emanated from Albany, New York, and saw MJF introduce the world to his “stable on retainer” Stokely Hathaway and The Firm.
There were AEW World Championship implications on the show as well with both Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson overcoming Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho respectively to move onto the final of the tournament to crown a new champion.
Swerve In Our Glory retained the AEW World Tag Team Championship with a defence against The Lucha Brothers. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will have it all to do again at Grand Slam when they put their title on the line against The Acclaimed.
