AEW Dynamite has seen their viewership increase significantly.
As reported by Wrestlenomics, the October 18th episode saw a total viewership of 901,000 with an 18-49 rating of 0.31. Compared to the head-to-head episode with NXT on October 10th that saw the WWE brand pick up a ratings victory over the competition, Dynamite saw an increase in viewers of approximately 48%. The 18-49 demo rating also received a boost as the October 10th key demographic rating was 0.26.
The main reason why AEW Dynamite saw a big bump in viewers was because the show returned to its regular timeslot on Wednesday night. The flagship show was moved to Tuesday night the previous week due to the MLB playoffs taking precedence on TBS. Also, unlike Tuesday nights, Dynamite ran unopposed in the wrestling market.
