AEW Dynamite Ratings – June 8th
The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the June 8th edition of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 939,000 viewers. The show also scored a 0.34 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
That is a decrease on the previous week where the show drew 969,000 viewers with a 0.40 rating in the key 18-49-year-old demographic.
The June 8th episode of Dynamite saw the beginning of the road towards crowning an interim AEW World Champion. Kyle O’Reilly came out victorious in the Casino Battle Royale – during which Andrade El Idolo entered as the Joker – to advance to face Jon Moxley. Mox ultimately moved on to Forbidden Door to compete for the interim championship.
Additionally, The United Empire’s Will Ospreay, Aaron Henare, and Aussie Open made their AEW debuts by assaulting Trent Beretta, while ‘Hangman’ Adam Page laid down a challenge to Kazuchika Okada for Forbidden Door.
Finally, the AEW All Atlantic Championship was introduced, with the first champion to be crowned at Forbidden Door. PAC has advanced to the tournament finals, which will be contested as a Fatal Four Way.
