AEW Dynamite Ratings – June 22nd
The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the June 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 878,000 viewers. The show also scored a 0.31 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
That is an increase on the previous week where the show drew 761,000 viewers with a 0.28 rating in the key 18-49-year-old demographic.
The June 22nd episode of Dynamite saw a monumental tag team headliner, as Jon Moxley and New Japan’s Hiroshi Tanahashi battled Chris Jericho and Lance Archer. This preceded a mass show-closing brawl that concluded with Moxley and Tanahashi standing face-to-face.
The build to Forbidden Door also continued as numerous NJPW stars either debuted on Dynamite or were mentioned as being booked for the pay-per-view. Notably, both Kazuchika Okada and Zack Sabre Jr. made their AEW debuts to set up their respective matches for Sunday’s stacked card.
Finally, Christian Cage cut a scathing promo directed towards his now-former ally Jungle Boy, mocking the former AEW World Tag Team Champion’s deceased father.
