The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the July 6th edition of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 979,000 viewers. The show also scored a 0.36 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
That is an increase on the previous week where the show drew 1,023,000 viewers with a 0.36 rating in the key 18-49-year-old demographic.
The July 6th episode of Dynamite saw a huge headline attraction, as Jon Moxley made the first defence of the interim AEW World Championship against Royal Rampage winner Brody King. This was a physical affair that saw the referee rule the match in favour of ‘The Death Rider’.
Scorpio Sky wasn’t quite as lucky, as he dropped the AEW TNT Championship to Wardlow. This marks the first taste of gold in All Elite Wrestling for Wardlow, as he continues his path of success following a victorious feud vs. MJF.
Christian Cage cut a searing promo directed at The Hardy Boyz, flanked by Luchasaurus. Finally, former ROH World Champion RUSH made his AEW singles debut, defeating and subsequently unmasking Penta Oscuro.
