The total viewership and demo ratings for the latest instalment of AEW Dynamite have been revealed.
As reported by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the August 17th edition of AEW Dynamite pulled in an average of 957,000 viewers. The show also scored a 0.30 rating in the 18-49-year-old demographic.
That is a decrease on the previous week where the show drew 972,000 viewers with a 0.33 rating in the key 18-49-year-old demographic.
The August 17th episode of Dynamite saw CM Punk and Jon Moxley – the official and interim AEW World Champions, respectively – engage in a physical confrontation, with the former also legitimately calling out Adam Page. They’ll collide to crown an Undisputed World Champion next Wednesday
AEW’s World Trios Championships tournament got underway with the first of four quarterfinal contests, featuring the return of Kenny Omega. Omega teamed with The Young Bucks to defeat La Faccion Ingobernable’s Andrade El Idolo, RUSH, and Dragon Lee, leading to Lee’s exit from LFI.
Dissession was teased with The Jericho Appreciation Society, as Daniel Garcia prevented Chris Jericho from beating up Bryan Danielson. Garcia had lost to ‘The American Dragon’ in an acclaimed Two out of Three Falls Match moments before.
