The total viewership has been published for the August 9th episode of AEW Dynamite.
As reported by Wrestlenomics, 846,000 people watched the latest episode of All Elite Wrestling’s flagship show, with an 18-49 rating of 0.29, ranking the show number one on cable.
AEW has seen a drop in viewers compared to the previous week. With the landmark 200th episode drawing an average audience of 894,000, the change is a drop of 5.4%.
The company will have hoped for a strong number for AEW Dynamite following a low rating for the August 5th episode of Collision, which suffered due to strong competition from WWE and UFC.
AEW Dynamite Continues The Build To All In
With the landmark pay-per-view just over 2 weeks away, All Elite Wrestling ramped up the build to All In by announcing multiple matches for the event. UK fans will get to see Sting wrestle live for the first time in 10 years as The Icon teams up with Darby Allin in a unique stipulation match.
Also on the show, World Champion MJF would engage in a promo battle with Adam Cole ahead of their title match at All In. MJF berated Adam Cole for his pale complexion before Cole stopped his best friend to reveal a plan that could allow one of them to walk out of Wembley Stadium as a double champion.
Continuing to add matches to the card for the UK pay-per-view, it was announced that one of the championships will be defended in a 4-Way match at Wembley Stadium, with qualifying matches in place to determine the competitors.
