AEW Double or Nothing turned out to be another excellent show presented by Tony Khan and his team. The show had a lot of scintillating moments, with many stars emerging on top. However, not everybody had a great night.
Double or Nothing 2025 emanated from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The card had 11 matches in total, with nine of them being on the main show. The night kicked off with Mercedes Mone and Jamie Hayter battling it out for the women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup, while the main event saw Hangman Adam Page and Will Ospreay go at it in the finals of the men’s side of the tournament.
The highlight of the show was undoubtedly the Anarchy in the Arena match, which had some enthralling moments. Ricochet and Mark Briscoe were also involved in an intense Stretcher Match, while the Continental and Women’s World Titles were defended.
Let’s dive into the winners and losers from the AEW Double or Nothing 2025.
#1. Winner: Mercedes Mone; Loser: Jamie Hayter
The erstwhile Sasha Banks once again presented herself as the woman to beat in AEW as she successfully put away Jamie Hayter to win the Owen Hart Foundation Cup. Mercedes Mone has more or less had a stellar record since joining AEW, with a few losses here and there. She has constantly captivated the crowd with her heel work and has added yet another feather to her ever-glorious cap. The star is now not only the TBS Champion in AEW but also the Owen Hart Foundation Cup winner, guaranteeing herself a Women’s World Title match at All In.

But the same cannot be said for Jamie Hayter. The star was sidelined for more than a year in 2023 and has since lost all her momentum. Since returning to action in August 2024, Hayter has consistently tried to get back some of the hype she had garnered during her highly acclaimed women’s title reign. That seems to have dissipated. A win in the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament would have once again cemented her place as a top babyface in the company, but that does not seem to be the case. It remains to be seen how Jamie Hayter will bounce back from this upset at AEW Double or Nothing.
#2. Winner: Ricochet
Say what you will about Ricochet, the former WWE star has done an immense job of being at the top of wrestling fans’ minds since joining AEW. He has had a stellar run as a heel and has done wonderfully well to cement himself as one of the top stars in the promotion. His match against Mark Briscoe at AEW Double or Nothing was another such example.

He went out of his way to make the contest interesting and has not shied away from taking an added step, only adding to his star power. His win in the stretcher match once again cements him as the one to look out for, and a title run will surely be on its way any moment now.
#2. Loser: Adam Cole
While Cole remains one of the top stars in terms of in-ring talent, his star power has fallen drastically over the last few years. Despite being the TNT Champion, he only featured in a six-man tag team match alongside fellow Paragon members Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong, against The Don Callis Family. To make matters worse, the bout was sandwiched between the Anarchy in the Arena contest and the main event, making it harder for fans to bother about it.
Really disappointed with Adam Cole’s TNT title reign #AEWCollision

Cole deserves a better spot on any match and even on the roster, and a push with him as the TNT Champion is desperately needed.
#3. Winner: The Anarchy in the Arena concept at AEW Double or Nothing
The Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing every year continues to be one of the most fun aspects of not just All Elite Wrestling but pro wrestling in general. The unadulterated brawling and chaos add a level of excitement and thrill that remains missing a lot from mainstream pro wrestling. As fans, who doesn’t like one star beating the living hell out of another, and then pounding on them some more just for the sake of it?
So. Many. Staples.

From staplers to forklifts, and bloodbaths to death-defying jumps, Anarchy in the Arena has it all. This year’s contest was won by Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale and The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Katsuyori Shibata) as they defeated the Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson).
It’s a pure spectacle, and we can only say, keep them coming!
