AEW Dark is reportedly heading to Universal Studios in Orlando.
It was initially reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AEW’s second show would now be taped “most weeks.” The move has been necessitated by the debut of AEW Rampage which will be taped on Wednesday’s going forwards.
“They are going to be doing studio tapings for Dark most weeks now since Rampage is being taped on most Wednesday nights going forward. Starting this week, it was Dark Elevation before Dynamite, and then Rampage after Dynamite for a four hour plus show”
The report was followed by an update from Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast which stated that the show could be heading to Orlando. Zarian notes that AEW Dark would be filmed on a sound stage in a similar way to how IMPACT used to be.
Hearing that the possible new home for AEW Dark will be in Universal Studios in Orlando at a Sound Stage similar to what IMPACT use to do.
